Remembering Corporal Cirillo

On Remembrance Day, the CIBPA asks you to keep the men and woman who fought for freedom in your thoughts and prayers, and to remember Corporal Nathan Cirillo. The 24-year-old reservist from Hamilton was murdered in Ottawa on October 22, 2014 while on duty protecting the Canadian National War Memorial. The National Federation CIBPA and other Italian Associations, including Liuna, hosted a Memorial Mass for Corporal Cirillo and did some fundraising for his family. The National Federation also made a $1,000 donation to the Marcus Cirillo Trust for Nathan’s son Marcus.
